Account Executive – B2B Sales (Mexico City)

About the role

Alibaba.com, a leading global B2B e‑commerce platform, is expanding its sales team in Mexico City. We are looking for an ambitious Account Executive to drive seller acquisition across the Americas, with a strong focus on the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls and outreach to prospective business customers throughout the Americas, especially the US market.
• Engage with owners and decision‑makers to understand their needs and present Alibaba.com’s value proposition.
• Introduce the platform to potential sellers and build a qualified pipeline of leads.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and track outreach activities.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, outbound calling, telemarketing, business development or related fields.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher, capable of professional conversations with US‑based customers.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with business owners over the phone.
• Proactive, resilient, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
