Senior Field Sales Engineer – Energy Division

About the role

We are seeking a senior Field Sales Engineer for the Energy Division to strengthen Alfa Laval’s presence in the Mexican energy process market. In this customer‑facing position you will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to develop and grow business across your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, customer needs and buying behaviour to create sales plans aligned with the Business Division strategy.
• Maintain a strong market presence through regular customer visits, technical‑commercial discussions and relationship building.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, generating leads and converting opportunities into profitable business.
• Prepare technically and commercially competitive proposals and lead negotiations through the full sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal technical resources to design solutions that add value for customers.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of B2B technical or industrial sales experience, preferably in heat‑transfer or fluid‑handling sectors.
• Proven ability to manage medium‑to‑large commercial projects and navigate complex industrial environments.
• Strong networking, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
