Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Mexico. The role is responsible for accurate and timely execution of the Record‑to‑Report (R2R) process, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with both Group standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full Record‑to‑Report cycle, ensuring data integrity and timely closing.
• Manage general ledger, fixed assets, tax provisions, reconciliations and month‑end/quarter‑end closings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet statements.
• Monitor cash levels, identify financial deviations and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, local legislation and Group reporting policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors and other stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of local regulations and Group reporting standards.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
