Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accounting Manager to lead our finance function in Guadalajara. The role ensures accurate financial statements, supports international growth, and collaborates with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, billing, collections, payroll and general ledger.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Handle foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, reconciliations and consolidations.
• Supervise cash‑flow management, banking activities and working‑capital reporting.
• Coordinate tax compliance (income, sales, payroll) for multiple international locations and support annual audits.
• Lead, develop and mentor the accounting team while establishing strong internal controls.
• Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and process improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including managing operations across several countries.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with foreign‑currency translations and intercompany accounting.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• QuickBooks Online (preferred).
