Accounting Manager / Junior Controller

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager / Junior Controller to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and partner with senior leadership on financial reporting, controls, and process improvements. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid accounting foundation who wants to own the accounting function in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform business decisions.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with operational and finance teams on strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate external audit requirements and respond to auditor requests.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and promote professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multinational or fast‑paced settings.
• Proven experience in senior accounting roles such as Senior Accountant, Accounting Lead, or Accounting Manager.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
