Administrative Litigation Lawyer – Mexico

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Litigation Lawyer to manage a full portfolio of administrative cases across Mexico. The role involves guiding cases from initial assessment through to resolution, ensuring rigorous legal strategy and client representation at every stage.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, draft, and file claims, motions, and procedural documents for administrative litigation.
• Develop legal strategies, case timelines, and prepare comprehensive reports and opinions for clients.
• Appear before courts and administrative authorities, attend hearings and trials, and represent clients throughout all procedural phases.
• Conduct legal research, analyze relevant legislation and case law, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of case progress, adhere to ethical standards, and communicate risks and options to clients.

Required profile

• Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) with a valid Mexican license to practice.
• Proven experience in administrative litigation and familiarity with Mexican administrative and procedural regulations.
• Track record handling trials, evidence organization, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Experience conducting depositions or formal witness examinations.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Professional ethics, client‑service orientation, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary legal team.
• Fluency in Spanish; basic to advanced English is an advantage.
