Admissions Coordinator

About the role

The Admissions Coordinator is the primary liaison for prospective families at The Wingate School, a leading international school in Mexico City. This role ensures a smooth, high‑quality admissions journey by managing communications, assessments, and decision‑making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions cycle.
• Communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Conduct parent interviews to understand each student’s profile and assess alignment with the school’s values.
• Provide timely, personalized follow‑up at every stage of the admissions journey.
• Maintain accurate and complete applicant files.
• Organise and oversee academic and psychometric assessments, including psychopedagogical evaluations.
• Review academic results and contribute to admissions decision‑making.
• Coordinate schedules involving families, students, psychology, and academic teams.
• Plan and participate in Open Days and other admissions events, including Saturday availability.
• Enhance the on‑campus visit experience for prospective families.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience conducting parent interviews and assessing student fit.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple schedules and documentation.
