Advanced Manufacturing Director – Coil Specialized

About the role

The Advanced Manufacturing Director – Coil Specialized will report to the Cienega Plant Manager and lead the engineering strategy that drives plant growth, product transfers, capacity expansion, automation and manufacturing excellence. The role acts as the critical link between product engineering, operations, supply chain, quality and U.S. manufacturing teams to ensure smooth and sustainable introduction of new products and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering roadmap supporting plant expansion and automation initiatives.
• Oversee product transfer projects and capacity‑building activities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality) to guarantee seamless hand‑over and sustained performance.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement and lean practices.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to production efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP.
• Knowledge of lean inventory practices and demand planning.
