Control Technician – Automation & Control

About the role

We are seeking a Control Technician to join Cummins’ automation and control team in Ciénega de Flores, Mexico. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to keep production equipment running smoothly and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the multidisciplinary team in maintaining operational machines.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on control equipment.
• Assemble and wire electrical panels.

Required profile

• High school diploma and/or technical degree/TSU.
• Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency with panel‑building hand tools.
• PC skills for installing and uninstalling software.
• Experience with vision sensors and barcode readers.
• Knowledge of torque tools, crimping tools, and motor drives.
