After‑School Sports Coach

About the role

The ISP Coach will lead after‑school sports training for students, teaching fundamental skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. This role prepares learners for inter‑school competitions while fostering healthy habits and a love for physical activity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver after‑school sports sessions across various disciplines (e.g., football, basketball, volleyball).
• Teach rules, techniques, strategies, and values associated with each sport.
• Supervise student safety and wellbeing during all activities.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, respect, and fair play.
• Prepare students for tournaments, matches, and friendly competitions.
• Monitor performance, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with parents and school staff about participation and development.
• Maintain sports equipment and facilities to ensure safety and readiness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support overall after‑school program goals.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and balanced physical activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or equivalent training in one or more sports.
• CPR/First Aid certification (desirable).
• Previous experience coaching or training children or adolescents.
• Experience organizing sports events, matches, or tournaments is an advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
