Android Mobile Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Android Mobile Engineer to join its fully remote team. You will create polished, native Android applications that power innovative products for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production‑grade Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply modern architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVI to build scalable, maintainable code.
• Integrate applications with backend services via RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data flows.
• Ensure performance, responsiveness, and stability across a wide range of devices and OS versions.
• Write clean, testable code and implement unit and UI tests for reliable releases.
• Oversee the full application lifecycle, including Play Store release processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of native Android development experience.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern UI development with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack libraries and the broader Android ecosystem.
• Proficiency with architectural patterns (MVVM or MVI) and reactive programming using Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger and managing Play Store releases.
• Advanced English communication skills.
