Area Manager – Inbound/Outbound MTY2 Outbound

About the role

The Fulfillment Center Trainer partners with operations managers, area managers and production teams to continuously improve the capabilities of the assigned area. The role focuses on measuring production quality and quantity, developing learning tools, and driving associate skill growth.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and analyze production quality and output metrics.
• Develop, maintain and apply learning tools such as checklists, skill‑building agreements and visual aids.
• Identify cross‑training opportunities and implement training programs to support operational objectives.
• Support the update and certification of SOPs, PMVs and PIT processes for associates and managers.
• Assist in measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives and their impact on performance.
• Provide insights and feedback to area managers to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups and one‑on‑one.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Goal‑oriented, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Active listener with a positive, “can‑do” attitude.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset and strong people skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of at least two production departments.
• Experience with SOP development and certification processes.
• Familiarity with PIT and PMV training requirements.
