About the role

WPP Production is seeking a freelance Art Director with strong AI knowledge to support upcoming multi‑channel campaigns. The role blends high‑level print production expertise with digital, motion, and AI‑enhanced design, ensuring creative concepts are delivered across print, web, and video platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs and feedback to produce static and motion‑based layouts.
• Generate print‑ready files for a variety of printing systems (digital, litho, gravure, screen).
• Prepare assets for motion graphics and video production, leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Manage assigned projects efficiently, maintaining consistent quality and meeting deadlines.
• Process amendments accurately across multiple file formats.
• Complete charge‑back paperwork and timesheets as required.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest design technology, trends, and AI‑powered creative tools.
• Communicate file status and potential issues to studio management.
