Aviation Health Coordinator

About the role

The Aviation Health Coordinator ensures that all medical and regulatory requirements for aviation technical personnel are met. Based in Mexico, the role supports a culture of wellness, self‑care, and medical fitness across the airline’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with AFAC medical and occupational health regulations for aviation technical staff.
• Design, implement, and monitor health policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise medical and nursing teams to deliver health programs.
• Develop preventive health programs and analyze health indicators to create data‑driven action plans.
• Identify health risks affecting medical fitness and implement preventive measures.
• Lead health promotion, wellness, and prevention campaigns at operational bases.
• Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, Flight Safety, and HR to strengthen health management for flight‑critical personnel.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree.
• 3–6 years of experience in occupational health, aviation medicine, or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience with AFAC regulatory compliance and preventive health program design.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work from Monterrey or Mexico City.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
