Bellperson - Hyde Hotel Mexico City

About the role

Hyde, a new hotel in Mexico City belonging to the Ennismore group (a joint venture between Ennismore and Accor), is looking for a Bellperson. The role is about more than moving luggage: it is about creating trust, reassurance and ease from the moment guests arrive, as the first impression and a steady presence throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and farewell guests warmly, assist with luggage, transportation and parking, and escort guests to their rooms while introducing resort amenities and services.
• Give accurate information and thoughtful recommendations on local wellness, culture and adventure experiences, and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Handle guest luggage, packages and special belongings safely and discreetly, and keep the lobby and public areas orderly and polished.
• Work closely with Front Office and Concierge to deliver seamless guest journeys, and work steadily during both normal and peak periods.

Required profile

• Service-focused personality; customer-related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to stand and walk constantly, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, kneel, push and pull, and climb ladders, stairs and ramps frequently.
