Commissary/Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Hakka Express & Restaurant, which blends Indian spices with Chinese wok-fired flavours, is looking for a full-time, on-site Commissary/Warehouse Supervisor in El Socorro. The role oversees day-to-day commissary and warehouse operations, keeping quality, timing and supply consistent across the restaurant's offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff, coordinate shipping and receiving, and ensure accurate material handling and inventory control.
• Monitor stock levels, organize storage areas and support timely distribution of ingredients and supplies to kitchen and service teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, verify delivery documentation and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
• Monitor performance, train team members on procedures and work with management to meet production and service demands.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service, warehouse or logistics supervision is preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work flexible hours as business needs require.
• Must be able to work six days a week.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Fluency in Spanish is an asset.

Required skills

• Shipping and receiving processes and basic documentation handling.
• Material handling and safe organization of stock and supplies.
• Food inventory control, including stock rotation, FIFO, cold storage controls and loss prevention.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Team leadership, task delegation and performance monitoring.
