Bilingual Area Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

International Dairy Queen, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Area Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership to a portfolio of franchise restaurants across assigned markets. You will act as the primary business consultant for franchise owners, helping them achieve sales, profitability, and guest‑experience goals while protecting the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned franchisees, building strong partnerships and clarifying expectations.
• Analyze market and franchise performance using company systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Diagnose operational challenges, model financial impact, and guide franchisees in developing action plans.
• Lead recurring business routines such as monthly performance reviews, KPI discussions, and operating rhythm meetings.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to enable sustainable growth and ensure compliance with Dairy Queen standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑unit restaurant or franchise management.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to influence and coach senior franchise leadership.
