Brand & Marketing Manager - Mama Shelter Mexico City

About the role

Mama Shelter, a hotel group founded in 2008 and part of Ennismore, is opening its first location in Mexico City and is looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager. The role is the storyteller behind the hotel and restaurant/bar, adapting global brand strategies to Mexico City while keeping the brand playful, bold and culturally connected.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and execute global brand strategies locally so the hotel stays relevant, playful and culturally connected.
• Drive the local social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) with authentic, high-energy photo and video content.
• Conceptualize, promote and run events, live music nights, pop-ups and activations that turn the public spaces into a neighbourhood hotspot.
• Build relationships with local journalists, creators and media figures to secure organic buzz and coverage.
• Plan and oversee local digital marketing campaigns, email marketing and paid media to drive F&B covers and room bookings.
• Monitor performance metrics, social engagement and ROI, optimise strategies and report to leadership.

Required profile

• Marketing, brand management or PR experience, ideally in lifestyle hospitality, F&B, entertainment or fashion.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both essential for local and international storytelling.
• A strong sense of Mexico City's cultural, culinary and nightlife scene, with a keen aesthetic eye and creative mindset.
