Head of Marketing & Communications, Mexico & LAC

About the role

AIG is seeking a senior leader to head Marketing & Communications for Mexico and the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing & Communications and the LAC CEO, you will shape regional strategy, storytelling, and brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an integrated marketing and communications team, ensuring alignment of strategy, messaging and high‑performance culture.
• Develop and oversee regional marketing plans, budgets, thought‑leadership content, demand‑driven campaigns and sales‑enablement programs.
• Partner with business leaders to maintain a consistent AIG brand across all markets and manage media relations, crisis communications and external vendor engagement.
• Drive internal communications using AIG platforms (email, intranet, MS‑Teams) to engage employees.

Required profile

• Significant experience in marketing and communications strategy, execution and team leadership.
• Proven ability to manage corporate media relations, crisis communications and CSR initiatives.
• Strong storytelling skills and experience delivering segmented narratives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
