Business Development Analyst – FinTech (Mexico & Caribbean)

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Business Development Analyst to drive commercial growth across Mexico and the Caribbean. You will work closely with senior management to expand partnerships, increase transaction volumes, and strengthen the company’s competitive position in the fintech and money‑transfer space.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and secure new partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, money‑transfer companies, agents, and billers.
• Manage and expand existing relationships to grow transaction volume.
• Lead commercial negotiations ensuring deals are profitable, compliant, and sustainable.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Develop business cases, forecasts, and performance reports backed by data‑driven analysis.
• Collaborate with product, operations, network, IT, and compliance teams to execute new initiatives.
• Track KPIs, drive performance, and report on revenue and transaction targets.
• Represent Ria at industry events, meetings, and partner presentations.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles.
• Background in money transfer, remittances, electronic payments, or fintech is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to meet and exceed business targets.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working with KPIs, dashboards, and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Resilience, discipline, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
