Business Finance Analyst – Order Management & Billing

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Business Finance Analyst to support order creation, project setup, budgeting, and billing processes for its operations in Guadalajara. The role combines finance expertise with strong ERP skills to ensure accurate project accounting and timely invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain work breakdown structures (WBS), sales orders, and project structures in SAP/Oracle Fusion.
• Set up and update projects and change orders following internal guidelines and commercial approvals.
• Upload, reconcile, and monitor project budgets against approved estimates and contract values.
• Execute billing and milestone invoices, ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policy, and local regulations.
• Track billing status, follow up on pending milestones, and manage required documentation.
• Identify process gaps, support Order‑to‑Cash standardization, and ensure audit and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Project Managers, Commercial Finance, and Collections, providing timely query resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in order management, billing, project accounting, or WBS creation, preferably in engineering or industrial environments.
• High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.

Required skills

• Strong SAP or Oracle Fusion ERP experience (order booking, WBS/project setup, billing).
• Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, lookups, pivots, reporting).
• Experience with Order‑to‑Cash processes and financial controls.
