Buyer / Planner II

About the role

Regal Rexnord is hiring a Buyer/Planner II in Apodaca for a fully onsite position at its designated office. The role manages the purchasing of materials, components, services and supplies needed by the operation, ensuring availability, competitive cost, quality and on-time delivery through supplier management and negotiation. It supports supply continuity, cost reduction, supplier performance, inventory optimization and customer service, aligned with Plant 1 business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the purchasing process for assigned materials and components.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Review requirements and delivery dates based on production needs.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent operational disruptions.
• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field, preferably Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or International Business.
• 2-4 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, supply chain, materials planning or supplier management.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English, especially for communicating with suppliers and global teams.

Required skills

• Purchasing and procurement processes, supplier negotiation and quotation analysis.
• Supply chain principles, inventory management and cost analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and ERP / MRP systems.
• SAP expertise.
• Supplier performance metrics and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
