Buyer – Procurement and Supplier Management

About the role

The Buyer supports the efficient procurement of goods and services needed for the organization’s operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide procurement support across a range of commodities and technologies, developing expertise in each category.
• Collaborate with business owners to identify, onboard, and manage vendors, handling purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Communicate policies, design standards, budget targets, and service expectations to suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts with low‑risk suppliers and oversee day‑to‑day supplier interactions.
• Execute risk‑mitigation, business continuity, and cost‑management strategies.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to procurement initiatives to meet performance metrics.
• Deliver training and support on procurement processes to internal teams.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑4 years of experience in procurement, category management, or related operations.
• Preferred certifications: CPIM, PMP, CPSM.
