Buyer – Procurement for Events, Marketing & Sales

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to manage the procurement of goods and services that support our Events, Marketing and Sales functions. The role ensures a continuous, cost-effective supply chain while maintaining high service standards and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for categories such as venues, hotels, catering, transportation, printed materials, consumer promotions, market research and digital marketing services.
• Lead the full RFx process: identify suppliers, analyse proposals, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders to align sourcing plans with business objectives.
• Design and implement procurement tools and techniques that deliver measurable value.
• Provide insights and recommendations to internal customers, challenging specifications and driving continuous improvement.
• Support cross-functional project teams to meet timelines and achieve desired results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in request, analysis and comparison of quotes against business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adopt new approaches and guide others through change.
• High ethical standards and strong relationship-building capabilities.
