About the role
The Import & Export Data Compliance Specialist will design and maintain software solutions that support government regulatory changes in the USA and Mexico, manage customs databases, and automate internal processes.
Key responsibilities
- Gather requirements from end users and create best‑practice operational solutions.
- Design, implement, and support applications for foreign trade matters, including customs software integration.
- Run test scripts, debug code, and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain and update customs databases, create tickets with software suppliers, and document implemented solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Experience in a software development role with a focus on C# development.
- Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and design.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation.
Required skills
- C# programming.
- JavaScript and React.
- SQL databases and MS Visual Basic.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Access, Excel).
- Familiarity with Annex 24 software (ZOE, Vastera, Prisma) and customs processes.
