IT Systems Specialist

About the role

Provides entry-level technical support by following established procedures to resolve common hardware, software, network, and user‑access issues. Works under regular supervision, collaborates with internal teams, and builds technical knowledge through training and hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Hands‑on support for company‑issued desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, operating systems and software.
• Track service requests through resolution, ensure customer satisfaction and escalate complex issues.
• Install, troubleshoot and support wired and wireless networks, including LAN monitoring and network security management.
• Install, troubleshoot and support communication systems such as video and voice conferencing and mobile phone services.
• Collaborate on IT projects and provide support to users across offices, labs, manufacturing facilities and warehouses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of hands‑on IT experience, or an associate degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently, lift up to 50 lb, and travel within the region (less than 20 % of the time).
