Civil Maintenance and Soft Services Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Civil Maintenance and Soft Services Engineer in Celaya. The role covers the review, supervision and management of construction, architectural and general maintenance works, as well as the operation of auxiliary services such as kitchen equipment, furniture, landscaping, pest control, housekeeping, locksmithing and gardening.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction, architectural and general maintenance works, including structural maintenance, building renovation and finishing, and ensure compliance with project plans and regulations.
• Supervise kitchen equipment, furniture, landscaping, pest control, housekeeping, locksmithing and gardening services so they meet project requirements.
• Verify that construction and civil works installations and equipment are commissioned correctly and match the approved project.
• Review construction and civil works designs for production and administrative needs against current regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement and follow up a Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for buildings, roofing, water and sewer systems, kitchen equipment, furniture, landscaping, pest control, housekeeping, locksmithing and gardening, including periodic studies and certifications.
• Manage new building and architectural projects from design, RFQ, change management, contractor management, permits and legal requirements to delivery within time and budget.
• Develop and implement energy efficiency projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction or civil and architectural maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience managing auxiliary services and facility operations.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing building construction and maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and industry standards.

Desirable requirements

• Graduate degree or professional certification in Architecture or Facilities Management.
• Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs (PMP).
• Project management certification or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary contractors and construction teams.
• Proficiency in facilities management software and project management tools.
