Cloud Software Development Engineer

About the role

Intel is seeking a Cloud Software Development Engineer to drive the creation and optimization of full‑stack software that enables Intel hardware features across cloud, hybrid cloud, and on‑premises environments. You will work on innovative solutions that enhance the value of Intel products for partners and customers in the rapidly evolving cloud ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and debug software that activates Intel hardware capabilities.
• Optimize full‑stack components—including firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications—for cloud deployment models.
• Collaborate with external partners to understand their software stacks and deliver integrated, performance‑tuned solutions.
• Create reference cloud platform software and assist customers in maximizing Intel product value.
• Perform bug analysis, provide timely support, and conduct code reviews.
• Participate in group problem‑solving sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Engage in DevOps and lab‑infrastructure activities to ensure efficient development workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4 years with a Master's degree.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture and micro‑architecture fundamentals.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
