Commercial Sales Support Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Sales Support Specialist will partner with the Mountain and Mid‑West District Sales Teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. This position focuses on creating accurate quotations, managing bids, and supporting order processing to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage daily customer quotations with high accuracy and responsiveness.
• Support plan‑and‑spec opportunities by coordinating with house accounts and advancing bids through the sales cycle.
• Enter and maintain orders, overseeing delivery to guarantee timely and accurate customer support.
• Own the weekly bid schedule, prioritising projects and communicating timelines to Commercial Territory Managers.
• Manage quote follow‑up activities, including weekly open‑quote reporting, CRM updates, and coordination with third‑party vendors.
• Assist with credit and collection processes, partnering across teams to resolve issues and streamline order processing.
• Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately to reduce manual overrides and improve order quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales support, customer service, operations, or a similar fast‑paced environment.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical documentation.
• Excellent relationship‑building, listening, persuasion, negotiation, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of sales principles and methods, including product positioning and customer engagement.
• Proficiency with CRM systems for quote tracking and reporting.
