Construction Estimator – Coordinator

About the role

Cazeta is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support an international client on large‑scale construction projects. The role is based in our Hermosillo office and provides remote estimating support to project teams across the United States and other international locations, with the possibility of a hybrid work model after an initial integration period.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
• Review architectural, structural, and civil plans to define project scope and estimating requirements.
• Develop and organize scopes of work and itemized construction cost information.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with project budgets, cost comparisons, bid evaluations, and estimate revisions as design evolves.
• Maintain organized estimating files, calculations, and supporting records.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, consistent, and aligned with client standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced English communication skills for international collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or pre‑construction services.
• 3+ years of experience supporting U.S. construction projects or working with U.S.-based construction companies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
