About the role

The company is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial and accounting activities within its plant environment. The role involves handling inventory, scrap accounting, payroll, and performing budget and variance analysis while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute accounting and financial tasks related to inventory, scrap, payroll, and budget variance analysis.
• Provide customer service for sales, price analysis, and retro‑billing.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and control fixed assets.
• Analyze monthly operational accounts and monitor client shipments.
• Supervise the Mexican accountant and prepare accounting records using HSHARED.
• Lead the monthly accounting close.
• Ensure compliance with AMS, BOS, internal ethics policies, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and client‑specific standards.
• Prevent potential product safety issues and adhere to workplace safety requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HSHARED accounting software.
• Familiarity with AMS (Adient Manufacturing System) and BOS (Business Operating System).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
