Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will act as a consultant and coach, applying lean manufacturing principles to drive strategic alignment across Daimler Truck’s business units in Mexico. You will help design and execute road‑maps and continuous improvement (CI) projects that support plant strategy and smart vision objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support business units in creating and following up on improvement strategies.
- Moderate weekly strategy meetings, reviewing road‑maps, KPIs and action plans.
- Lead or assist CI projects aimed at enhancing key performance indicators.
- Document project progress and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
- Promote a sustainable culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.
Required profile
- Academic background in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
