Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to own and develop our day‑to‑day accounting operation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure a clean monthly close, maintain healthy AP/AR cycles, and build finance policies on a modern, AI‑enabled stack.

Key responsibilities

• Run the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and review steps according to a published calendar.
• Manage end‑to‑end AP and AR processes: invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and partner reconciliations.
• Operate and continuously improve the finance stack – QuickBooks Online for the general ledger and Ramp for spend management.
• Develop, document, and update finance policies and procedures as the business evolves.
• Resolve day‑to‑day accounting decisions, billing questions, and process exceptions, partnering with the CFO on strategic issues.
• Collaborate with 1,000+ partner centers to address AP/AR exceptions and prevent disputes.

Required profile

• Proven Controller experience with full ownership of monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong written and spoken English to work with the US executive team.
• Motivation to build and scale a finance function using modern tools.
• Experience with Sage, multi‑entity, or international finance is a plus.
