Cost Accountant

About the role

The Cost Accountant will lead accounting activities for a manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely cost information to support business decisions. This hands‑on role works closely with the Plant Manager and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and align accounting procedures with corporate standards and the Plant Manager reporting structure.
• Maintain and safeguard company assets through robust internal controls.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including statements, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Manage the plant’s cost system, generate related reports and analyses.
• Oversee NAPS accounting processes: accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll and cost accounting.
• Support audits, regulatory compliance and intercompany balance confirmations.
• Implement and monitor ERP‑based financial and business processes.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop KPI dashboards and monitor budget execution.
• Supervise fixed‑asset accounting, petty‑cash control and corporate credit‑card expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a General or Senior Accountant, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
