Cost Center Controller

About the role

The Cost Center Controller acts as a business partner for the Onshore Cost Center Controlling team in North America, providing financial clarity and supporting decision‑making across the region. You will deliver accurate budget analysis, forecasts, and reporting while collaborating closely with regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning and control of yearly budgets for onshore regional areas, including hourly‑rate calculations.
• Analyze cost structures and continuously improve the cost‑accounting system.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and explain variances between forecast and actuals to management.
• Strengthen master‑data governance (cost centers, WBS, orders, GL accounts) to enable efficient SAC, Power BI and SQL usage.
• Drive cross‑departmental process standardisation and support digitalisation initiatives within Cost Center Controlling.
• Support time‑registration set‑up and ensure correct booking of hours to orders/WBS elements.
• Assist in establishing SLAs for inter‑company charges, related documentation and purchase‑order creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance controlling, commercial sales or project‑business environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
