Country Manager – Mexico

About the role

Adyen is seeking a Country Manager for Mexico to lead its growth and position the company as a payments thought‑leader in the market. Reporting to regional leadership, you will adapt Adyen’s global strategy to local needs and drive revenue across Mexican enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop local sales, account management, marketing and operations teams, managing managers and their direct reports.
• Act as the public face of Adyen in Mexico, executing marketing and communication strategies in partnership with global teams.
• Scale the organization to meet ambitious growth targets across verticals and product offerings.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional HQ in São Paulo and global HQ in Amsterdam to align product demand and regional ways of working.
• Participate hands‑on in strategic deals, managing executive relationships and ensuring successful closure.
• Contribute to the LATAM regional leadership team and drive change management initiatives.

Required profile

• Seasoned senior leader with proven experience scaling organizations rapidly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage managers and build high‑performing teams.
• Strong consultative and commercial mindset, comfortable in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, able to act as a spokesperson.
• Empathetic change agent with a collaborative approach.
