Customer Care Representative

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Care Representative to join its Mexico office in Santiago de Queretaro. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information on transaction statuses and resolving general queries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist agents or final customers (senders or beneficiaries) via telephone and email to resolve questions and complaints.
• Review and correct data of incorrectly processed transactions.
• Maintain constant communication with the correspondent (paying agent in the destination country) to resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile and balance refunds of cancelled transactions.

Required profile

• Completed high school or college education.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or a call‑center environment.
• Proficiency in an additional language.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a collaborative team approach.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Internet Explorer.
