Customer Success Team Leader

About the role

We are a fast‑growing VC‑backed technology company seeking a hands‑on Customer Success Team Leader to manage our international Customer Success team and own key customer relationships. This player‑coach position blends people management with direct client ownership, ensuring global clients are onboarded, trained, and continuously derive value from our AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and support an international team of Customer Success Managers, fostering a consultative, value‑driven client approach.
• Maintain a personal book of business, partnering with key accounts to understand financial and operational workflows and lead high‑impact professional services and AI implementation projects.
• Guide teams and clients to define operational goals, conduct business reviews, and demonstrate concrete financial returns and ROI.
• Act as primary escalation point for international customer issues, providing strategic feedback to resolve complex blockers.
• Ensure consistent execution of tailored onboarding, training, and support processes across regions.
• Monitor usage, adoption, and engagement data to proactively mitigate churn and identify growth opportunities.
• Collect and communicate critical customer feedback to Product and Operations teams and assist in post‑sales conversations requiring deep product expertise.

Required profile

• Player‑coach mentality: enjoys direct customer interaction while leading a team.
• Strong background in management consulting, fintech, implementation, or project‑oriented environments.
• Experience mentoring or leading customer‑facing teams is preferred; senior professionals ready for leadership are welcome.
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to discuss financial metrics, business ROI, and navigate complex software implementations; AI project experience is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (bilingual preferred).
