Customer Success Team Leader

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, VC‑backed technology company seeking a hands‑on Customer Success Team Leader to drive adoption and ROI for our international client base. In this player‑coach position you will both manage a global team of Customer Success Managers and own a portfolio of strategic accounts, guiding them through complex AI implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop an international team of Customer Success Managers, fostering a consultative, value‑driven culture.
• Own a book of business, partnering with key accounts to understand financial and operational workflows and lead high‑impact professional services and AI projects.
• Define operational goals, conduct business reviews and demonstrate concrete financial returns and ROI.
• Act as the primary escalation point for international customer issues, providing strategic guidance to resolve blockers.
• Ensure consistent execution of onboarding, training and support processes across regions.
• Monitor usage, adoption and engagement metrics to proactively mitigate churn and identify growth opportunities.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to Product and Operations teams and support post‑sales conversations when deep product expertise is required.

Required profile

• Player‑coach mentality with a passion for direct customer interaction while leading a team.
• Strong background in management consulting, fintech, implementation or project‑oriented environments.
• Proven analytical ability to discuss financial metrics, business ROI and complex software implementations.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
