Data Architect – Databricks & Python (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and implement enterprise‑scale data platforms using Databricks and lakehouse architecture. The role is fully remote and focuses on aligning business objectives with robust, scalable technical solutions across AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models for lakehouse architectures using Databricks and PySpark.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Architect scalable data pipelines and storage solutions that integrate diverse data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reference architectures and best practices for data management.
• Optimize platform performance and cost through efficient resource utilization and architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise data platforms with Databricks and lakehouse concepts.
• Strong background in defining data governance frameworks and domain‑aligned data models.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
