DevOps Engineer – AWS

About the role
3Pillar is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its AI transformation team. You will bridge development and operations, automating infrastructure and ensuring reliable, high‑performance cloud services for enterprise AI products.
Key responsibilities
- Automate and optimise infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate code integration and delivery.
- Containerise applications and manage orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Oversee cloud environments on AWS (and Azure where needed), ensuring scalability, security and cost‑effectiveness.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and guarantee high availability.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional development teams to support continuous delivery.
Required profile
- Ability to prioritise work based on business impact.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Effective communication with team members, stakeholders and customers.
- Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working collaboratively in cross‑functional environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Ruby or Go.
- Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS (and Azure) cloud platforms.
- Skills in networking, security and database management.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud‑based systems.
