DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a remote‑first international team that builds and maintains the infrastructure behind globally distributed digital products. Based in Mexico, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience, helping teams deliver reliable services faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal services and tools using Go to automate deployments and support developer platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimise scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes‑based production and pre‑production environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting using Grafana, OpenSearch and related observability tools.
• Optimise staging and ephemeral environments for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and software delivery processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure‑focused role.
• Strong ability to work independently in a distributed, remote environment.
• Proven track record of designing automation solutions and improving platform reliability.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) development for production services.
• Kubernetes administration and operations.
• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• GitLab CI/CD (or equivalent) pipeline creation and optimisation.
• Linux system administration.
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and OpenSearch.
