Diabetes Nurse (Bilingual Clinical Product Specialist)

About the role

The Clinical Product Specialist Level 1 will provide best‑in‑class, clinically focused education and phone support for Omnipod diabetes devices, assisting patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes throughout their journey.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming and outbound clinically related customer questions via phone with empathy.
• Support Omnipod customers post‑onboarding to ensure first‑call resolution and retention.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge through trainings and apply it to explain insulin‑pump therapy and device operation.
• Review and educate customers on diabetes data‑management reports and assist in healthcare‑provider conversations.
• Follow standardized workflows, document all interactions in the CRM system, and meet service‑level KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform timely administrative duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent customer‑service and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self‑starter with strong business acumen and ability to work with minimal direction.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Suite and Salesforce.
