Director of Culinary & Procurement – Latin America & Caribbean (Remote)

About the role

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is looking for a strategic, results‑driven Director of Culinary and Procurement to lead its Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) portfolio. The role sits within the Americas Performance Hub Operations team and reports on culinary performance, sourcing strategy and profitability across the region. It is a remote position that partners with hotel teams, brand leaders, owners and key suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve food and beverage performance and cost efficiency across LAC hotels.
• Develop and execute regional procurement strategies, negotiate with suppliers and drive strategic sourcing.
• Influence culinary direction, support new hotel openings and conversions, and champion best practices aligned with Hyatt standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify innovation opportunities, quality improvements and operational excellence.
• Strengthen supplier partnerships and monitor performance metrics to ensure profitability and guest experience goals are met.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to culinary and procurement teams throughout the region.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in culinary operations, food & beverage or procurement within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑country portfolios and drive performance improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost control, budgeting and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing hotel owners, brand leaders and suppliers.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, dynamic environment and support new hotel openings and conversions.
