Director of International Communications (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

Instructure is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its international communications strategy. Based in Mexico and working remotely, you will align corporate and product messaging with business goals across EMEA, Latin America, and Asia‑Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the communications, PR, and thought‑leadership strategy for markets outside the US and Canada.
• Lead media relations, manage external PR agencies, and secure coverage that advances corporate initiatives.
• Partner with product, marketing, field, sales, and events teams to integrate communications into broader campaigns and product launches.
• Build relationships with market‑research analysts and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Coordinate internal messaging and provide guidance to spokespeople and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, preferably within higher‑education or SaaS environments.
• Full fluency in English with the ability to produce all strategic documents and communications in English first.
• Strong global mindset and experience engaging diverse international audiences.
• Self‑starter who integrates PR into marketing strategies and drives innovative engagement tactics.
