Doorman (Lobby Ambassador)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Doorman (Lobby Ambassador) to join the team at Fairmont Mayakoba, a luxury resort in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The role is pivotal in creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms.
• Manage valet parking, luggage storage, and deliver parcels or messages to guest rooms.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing lobby and entrance areas.
• Collaborate with front desk, concierge, and bell captain to address guest needs.
• Follow health, safety, and protocol standards to ensure guest and staff safety.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in roles such as bellman, valet driver, or doorman.
• Valid driver’s license for valet duties.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional attitude.
• Physical stamina and problem‑solving ability.
