DPI Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Digitalization and Process Improvement (DPI) team. The role can be based in Houston, USA or Merida, Mexico and involves building and maintaining regional digital tools across multiple business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with various business functions and global colleagues to design and develop software solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications on Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Office, and custom Python tools.
• Analyze existing processes, identify optimization opportunities, and deliver MVP‑driven solutions within an Agile framework.
• Ensure safe coding practices by working closely with corporate and cyber security teams.
• Create and review technical documentation for business support and engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of basic engineering and business principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Python development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid Agile project delivery.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for pull‑request reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and backlog management.
