Drilling Operations Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role
We are looking for a Drilling Operations Manager to join a leading oil & gas operator in Villahermosa, Mexico. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing drilling and well‑intervention projects while ensuring safety, efficiency and cost control.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise drilling, completion, and workover operations.
- Develop and monitor operational programs (POA).
- Coordinate logistics, materials and third‑party services.
- Ensure compliance with well integrity and regulatory requirements.
- Lead operational reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Interface with clients and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in drilling operations.
- Strong knowledge of well design, drilling techniques and well integrity.
- Experience in HPHT, deep wells or complex environments (preferred).
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
