Drilling Operations Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for a Drilling Operations Manager to join a leading oil & gas operator in Villahermosa, Mexico. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing drilling and well‑intervention projects while ensuring safety, efficiency and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise drilling, completion, and workover operations.
• Develop and monitor operational programs (POA).
• Coordinate logistics, materials and third‑party services.
• Ensure compliance with well integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Lead operational reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Interface with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in drilling operations.
• Strong knowledge of well design, drilling techniques and well integrity.
• Experience in HPHT, deep wells or complex environments (preferred).
• Leadership and project management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
