About the role
Regal Rexnord is looking for an EHS Manager II in Piedras Negras. The position sits within a maquiladora operation and focuses on occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance and accident prevention.
Key responsibilities
- Risk identification and assessment, developing programs to eliminate or mitigate risks
- Develop and implement STPS (Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare) policies to comply with the legal and regulatory framework
- Train employees and raise awareness through brigades and active programs involving operational staff and response teams
- Supervise and ensure regulatory compliance with Federal and State entities
- Investigate and analyse accidents and incidents, keeping a plant-level TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) log
- Manage emergencies by preparing an emergency response plan submitted to civil protection authorities
- Promote overall well-being to improve quality and safety in the workplace
Required profile
- 2 to 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety topics in the industrial sector, particularly in maquiladora operations
